All Kinekt suspension seatposts are easy to install and adjust, and come with a range of springs so you can tailor the ride feel to your weight and preferences. Our seatposts also feature a spring preload adjustment knob, allowing you to further fine-tune the performance of your Kinekt suspension seatpost on the fly, a Kinekt exclusive.

Kinekt LR Seatpost

The Kinekt LR seatpost is suitable for rider weights from 36 to 82 kg (80 to 180 pounds). Comes with a black/black spring combination installed 64-82 kg (140 pounds to 180 pounds). Comes with extra springs so they can easily be changed by yourself for the desired weight. Please specify desired length and diameter when ordering.

The Kinekt XR seatpost is suitable for rider weights from 36 to 145 kg (80 to 320 pounds). Comes with a black/yellow spring combination installed 86-109 kg (190 pounds to 240 pounds). Comes with extra springs so they can easily be changed by yourself for the desired weight. Please specify desired length and diameter when ordering.

The ideal spring combination for your weight and driving style

Adjusting a Kinekt seatpost to your weight and riding style is easy. By default, the seatpost is equipped with 2 springs (1 top, 1 bottom) and comes with 2 (LR) or 3 (XR) additional springs. These springs are easy to change. Use the table to match the spring combinations to your desired riding, and try different combinations to find the perfect setting. You can also use the adjusting screw on the seat post to make additional fine tuning.

How long should my first ride be?

It is wise to let the first ride be shorter than usual. Build up this distance slowly. Because it is a different saddle than a conventional saddle, the body will have to get used to it first.

What should I do when ISM feels too wide?

If this is the case, it is recommended that you move the saddle slightly backwards. It could also be that the saddle is too high, in this case lower the saddle step by step.

What if my saddle can't go further back?

This is where people sometimes run into problems. What needs to be done. This requires a setback-style seatpost, some bikes have a double-sided option. The setback position is often used here with ISM saddles.
