If you have undergone surgery on the anus or bowels, finding the right saddle can be quite a chore. With this article we try to help a little in the choice.

Many times these particular problems can be divided into 2 categories:

• People who can sit well on a flat surface
• People who seek relief from the area around the anus

For people in the first category, there are great flat saddles available from the ISM brand. See the products below. The advantage of these over other brands is that the saddles are not bulbous, which often just adds more pressure around the anus. These saddles give you the same feeling you have when sitting on a chair.

The ISM Berkley is recommended for hip circumference between 105-135 cm, the ISM Cruise for hip circumference over 135 cm.

For the second group of people, we have special saddles that relieve the entire midsection (perineum). These EasySeat bicycle saddles consist of two sections that can simply be rotated further apart until the saddle relieves you sufficiently from pressure and pain. This gives the advantage of no pressure at all around the anus.

The EasySeat Original is the entry level model, the EasySeat II and the EasySeat Pro Hub are of a much higher quality. It is seen that the EasySeat II saddle is found finer by ladies, and the slightly more pointed at the front EasySeat Pro Hub by men. But it remains a personal preference.
